Applauding Our Rising Stars
A salute to the leaders of tomorrow, the Rising Star Award Asia Pacific was launched in 2014 to recognize dynamic young achievers in our industry who demonstrate exceptional ability, vision and drive. Nominees must be 35 years and younger, and are nominated by mentors or peers. The winner is determined by a selection process by our judging committee of senior industry executives, and the Award is presented during the HICAP Conference 17-19 October. The nomination period is NOW CLOSED.
2018 Rising Star Award Recipient
Senior Manager Development – Middle East & Asia Pacific
Candidates must have a sponsor who will complete the Candidate Nomination
- Age: 35 years of age or younger. Born on or after 20 October 1982.
- Experience: Has a minimum of five years in a hotel development and/or investment related field with a minimum of one year with the current company. *The hotel development and investment fields include those directly involved with hotel development and investment community such as lenders, brokers, consultants, lawyers, architects and hotel chain executives
- Is recognized by leaders in the hospitality community as a “rising star”
- Lives and works in the Asia Pacific (Australia, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China (PRC), East Timor, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Republic of China (Taiwan), Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Thailand, Tonga, Vietnam) or South Asia (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) regions with a minimum of two year’s experience in the market
